Though the Glory actor kept a close eye on his daughter amid the controversies in the industry following the extensive coverage of the Hollywood s*xual harassment controversy and the #MeToo Movement, he thinks the industry slowly has become a safer place.
When asked if he thought that the industry has changed following the s*xual harassment scandal, sparked in 2017, the actor told i newspaper, “I hope so. I think there are just more rules in place. Time will tell on this one but it’s good right now.”
More than 80 actresses including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Lupita Nyong’o accused producer Harvey Weinstein of misbehavior and s*xual assault.
