Chris Evans’ Take on One Specific Scene in Knives Out
Knives Out is a modern take on the classic murder mystery genre. The Thrombey family gathers at their ancestral mansion after the death of wealthy patriarch Harlan Thrombey, played by the legendary Christopher Plummer. Ana de Armas plays Marta Cabrera, Harlan’s compassionate nurse, while Chris Evans takes on the role of Ransom Drysdale, Harlan’s spoiled and arrogant grandson.
There was a specific scene in the movie where Marta puked on Ransom’s face. And though Evans admits that it was a great scene, he did not like to get puked. He said to GQ:
“Oh, that was a great scene. But I didn’t love getting the puke in my face.”

Chris Evans and Ana de Armas Collaboration in Movies Apart from Knives Out
Chris Evans and Ana de Armas have already established themselves in Hollywood as a dynamic duo. Till now they have starred in three movies. Recently they shared the screen in Dexter Fletcher’s directorial movie Ghosted, which was released on April 21, 2023, and is available to watch on Apple TV. This is a love story with a comedy tone between the protagonists with a plot similar to many spy movies.
Their other screen sharing was the 2022 Netflix movie The Gray Man which was based on the book series of the same name. Ana de Armas plays an agent named Dani Miranda while Evans plays Lloyd Hansen, the main villain of the film.
De Armas became a bona fide star in movies like 2016’s War Dogs and the blockbuster 2017 sequel Blade Runner 2049. On the other hand, Chris Evans has been a cinema staple since the early 2000s, and his role as Captain America in the MCU helped him to become one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood.
Chris Evans and Ana de Armas have only collaborated on three projects together, but their partnership has been solid and their natural on-screen chemistry was palpable from the very beginning.
