Based on Agatha Christie’s 1934 novel of the same name, the 2017 film, Murder on the Orient Express grossed $352.8 million worldwide. While the movie received mixed reviews from critics, the cast and production were highly praised for their efforts. It featured an ensemble cast that revolves around Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot, a world-renowned detective, who investigates a murder on the train in the 1930s.

Released in 2005, it was highly praised for its dark tone, becoming director Tim Burton’s second-highest-grossing movie ever to this date.

Just like their previous collaboration, this fantasy movie also used dark elements with the Donnie Brasco actor playing the role of Mad Hatter, the bitter mayor of Wonderland in the movie. Hatter joins Mia Wasikowska’s Alice Kingsleigh to restore the White Queen to her throne by fighting against the Red Queen.

Just like the fourth one, it also attained many box-office accomplishments including the fastest film to surge past $1 billion worldwide, which was 63 days. 

While Depp’s career plummeted due to his personal crisis when he got engaged in legal trouble with his ex-wife, Amber Heard, his movie earnings are way on par with Tom Cruise’s overall earnings in the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Tom Cruise is well-reputed for bringing adrenaline rush in theatres thanks to his insane action sequences that can leave anyone awed. Recently, he reprised his Ethan Hunt role in the new addition to the Mission: Impossible franchise, Dead Reckoning Part One.
