Another iconic character joining the fray is Spawn, the Hell spawn with supernatural powers. Spawn has a rich history as a decorated US Marine Corps officer turned antihero, and players can expect to embody his darkness in the game. With thematic content and operator skins, Spawn brings his unique brand of terror to The Haunting.
The Haunting event also resurrects classic game modes with a spine-tingling twist. Zombie Royale, a fan-favorite mode, reemerges, offering a new take on the battle royale experience. In this mode, there’s no Gulag – instead, downed players return as zombies, hunting down survivors in a frantic and terrifying struggle for survival.

Warzone Gets Spooky with Map Makeovers and Mode Madness for The Haunting
Modern Warfare 2 gets a spooky makeover with map reskins and themed modes. El Asilo and Embassy maps take on Halloween-themed transformations, promising unique and haunting battlegrounds.
Alongside these revamped maps, four game modes – Haunting Domination, Haunting Kill Confirmed, Haunting Drop Zone Drop Scares, and Haunting Infected – undergo slight alterations to immerse players in the Halloween spirit.
The Haunting event is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Will run through Season 6.
