One of the strongest characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen world is Satoru Gojo. However, after the third episode of the second season, it has been clear that was not the case when he was young. Fans were impressed by this man’s sheer ability to take Gojo down. This character is none other than Megumi’s father, Toji Fushiguro. He has been present in the storyline for quite some time but hasn’t revealed his entire power in the anime till the third episode of season 2. Is Toji Fushiguro actually stronger than Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Toji plans to kill the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko, in Episode 3. He exhausts Gojo with his constant attacks, and as soon as he drops his guard, Toji strikes him and stabs his chest from behind. Even though it wasn’t enough to finish Gojo, this scene signified how Toji can hide his presence from Gojo’s Six Eyes technique. It was also revealed that Toji can summon a plethora of powerful weapons from his Shikigami, which include some that have the ability to break through Gojo’s Limitless Cursed Technique. However, one of the most amazing traits about Toji is his physical prowess, which, along with Heavenly restriction, allows him to traverse at speeds much higher than an average human could and attack much more substantially.
The fact that Gojo lost the fight against Toji made this series interesting for the audience. He isn’t as strong as he made it seem at the start of the series. Anime really emphasized this point by extending the battle between these two characters and adding intricate details that the manga missed out on. This entire ordeal helped to signify just how strong Toji Fushiguro was to actually defeat Satoru Gojo in a fight thus far in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Toji had lots of abilities and a combination of all those allowed him to gain an upper hand on Gojo in the fight. Gojo was quite a powerful sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen and with his Six Eyes technique, there aren’t many opponents who would be able to even land an attack on him. One of the most broken abilities was given to him, and it was his Limitless Cursed Technique. However, many fans might wonder that Toji was stronger than Gojo that’s why he won the bout, but it was his sharp mind and quick tactical strategies which helped him butcher the young sorcerer. Toji manipulated young Gojo’s cockiness and put him in a position where he became much weaker and exposed himself to getting attacked. Gojo lost the fight in a morbid way because of Toji’s superior physical abilities and strategic mind.
