This could potentially be a game changer on the big screens. Offering a glimmer of hope to the loyal MCU fanbase as well as the beloved superheroes who would eventually have to face Kang. Scarlet Witch Has a Huge Advantage Over Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Since the Scarlett Witch’s introduction played by Elizabeth Olsen in the MCU, she has slowly turned out to be one of the most important parts of the cinematic universe. Apart from her mystical prowess, which now has been revealed could give her a significant advantage over Kang the Conquerer, there’s a possibility that much like Kang she too might be intertwined with the multiverse itself. This theory grew stronger when she got together with her Earth-838 variant and dealt with the Illuminati in the Multiverse of Madness.
In addition to that, both of them being the Nexus beings of the MCU, definitely promise an inevitable showdown. When that unfolds, it is bound to be a rare sight. As, in the end, Kang’s reluctance to eventually become the Immortus leaves him exposed, as magic is far from his forte and therefore could lead to his and the council’s downfall, leaving the rest with a stable multiverse.
Doctor Stange Can Potentially Save the Multiverse
Well, Scarlet Witch isn’t the only one whom Kang has to look out for until he is the Immortus, Doctor Strange too could pose a significant threat to the master of timelines. Should the MCU decide to explore this route further, Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Supreme Sorcerer could trip Kang up with his expert magical as well as mystical prowess.
This could put Kang at a significant disadvantage. However given the cunning Kang’s mastery and experience over every possible timeline, it could be very possible that Kang is already aware and therefore already at work eliminating the threats secretly.
