Zendaya has already established herself with some iconic roles that need no introduction including her work as MJ in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Due to her involvement with the Spider-Man projects, she met her now-beau, Tom Holland who portrays the titular character in Home trilogy.
Since their debut, fans have been gushing over the on-screen couple however their off-camera interactions led many to wonder if there was some real chemistry cooking up between the duo. The speculations finally turned to reality when the duo was caught in a PDA in 2021, with the pair acknowledging their dating era.
Since then, they had been keeping their relationship out of the public but recently caught fans’ attention when the former posted a selfie on her Instagram Story. The Thursday story featured her Golden State Warriors hat but what held everyone’s interest was a massive ring she donned on her ring finger. However, she later clarified that she never focused on the ring in the first place.
In a since-deleted video on her Instagram story, she mentioned,
“I can’t post anything, you guys. I posted it for my hat. Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that’s how I would drop the news? You think? Like, what?”

Since wearing the ring led many to speculate whether Holland had proposed to her or not, the Shake It Up actress set the records straight as she clarified that the pretty ring held no significance to her engagement.
Zendaya Sets The Record Straight With Another Instagram Story
Given that the ring ended up sparking the advancement in the duo’s relationship, it was nothing but a normal picture. She made sure to remove the speculation from its roots by uploading a full picture of herself on her Instagram story captioning,
“Let me just put the full body back so y’all can relax lmao.”
While there are instances when celebrities often get public by subtly hinting at their relationship status, it is just not the case with our Marvel couple. Speaking with Elle, the actress further addressed the downside of being a celebrity, especially when it comes to the overwhelming public attention she always garners.
Talking about getting extreme attention, especially on her relationship with the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor, she mentioned,
“Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now.”
While they still prefer to keep their relationship low-key, the pair are now more open to showing affection to one another in public. They have often addressed their relationship in public appearances meanwhile sharing some sweet moments via social media.
